Our telephone number is 972-278-2858.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The VFW meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at 6pm following House Committee meeting. The Auxiliary meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:30pm. Please come and join us.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;We have a newly formed Men&amp;#39;s Auxiliary. These men are not eligible for the VFW but can join the Men&amp;#39;s Auxiliary under the same eligibility as the Ladies Auxiliary members. She is currently serving her 7th term as an Auxiliary President and is a Past District President twice. She is currently serving as District 3 Jr. Vice President.  Her symbol is the lighthouse. Her motto is &amp;quot;lighting the way to make EVERYDAY Veterans&amp;#39; Day&amp;quot;. She takes the lighthouse from the gospel song where Jesus is the lighthouse.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Beverly is a widow of a Vietnam Veteran, Harry Walker, who died from complications of Agent Orange. He was honored at the Vietnam wall in Washington DC in 2004. She is now married to Dennis Snow, a 26 year Army veteran. She has 3 sons, 3 daughters in law and 7 grandchildren. We send packages overseas to various groups of the military. The Auxiliary averages sending 2 packages a week filled with various goodies for the troops. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;We also have adopted the Garland Air National Guard unit in our area. We send food to serve at the Sunday family meeting at each Guard session. Buddy poppies are purchased through the VFW Department Headquarters.
